Paying homage to the genre’s pioneers, SUBSPECTRA reinvents classics and contemporary tracks from DJ Marky, Roni Size, S.P.Y., High Contrast, Adam F, Calibre, Sub Focus, Pendulum, London Elektricity, and more. Their shows transform drum & bass from the DJ booth into a full live spectacle, creating an immersive experience for audiences.
Reforming in late 2023, the band evolved with a fresh vision, and backed by world-renowned sound engineer Gaetan Schurrer (aka naughtyG), whose expertise ensures every show delivers pristine, floor-shaking sound. SUBSPECTRA has proven their ability to command a stage, supporting UK drum & bass producer Ben Soundscape and vocalist Collette Warren, performing their track Cold Black Soul live with them.
With over a decade of captivating performances at Freo.Social, The Bird, Old Habits Bar, Ronnie Nights, The Rosemount, Four5Nine Bar, Clancy’s Fish Pub, and the now-closed Badlands Bar and The Sewing Room, SUBSPECTRA is a standout act in Perth’s drum & bass scene.
Returning to the Ellington Jazz Club, the band is set to deliver a night of high-energy, live drum & bass – perfect for both die-hard fans of the genre and lovers of live electronic music.
