Stellar Moon & the Dark Knights bring the stage to life with punchy horn lines, poignant organ and funky riffs. First Nations Soul singer Monique Le Lievre from the Kimberley is Stellar ‘Manawala’ Moon who exudes JOY swimming in the sounds from the 7-piece band and scooping the audience up in a journey of connection & fun! Monique is a lover of nature (‘country’) with a rebellious core and a secret life mission to help people unshackle, empower, cut loose, sing, dance & feel free.

Monique is passionate about the message of reconnecting, to self, country/nature & infinite wisdom. As part of her own healing journey, she is learning her Grandmother’s Nyikina Nganka/language & is beginning to put it into her songs.
Stellar Moon completed her second state-wide tour this year with 22 shows including the prominent Nannup Music Festival, celebrating the release of her debut album ‘Phases’. She has supported Australian greats such as Darryl Braithwaite, The Waifs and Emily Wurramara.
