Penny King and her band are back with another sublime evening of Sondheim!
In the tradition of Herbie Hancock’s ‘Colour and Light – Jazz Sketches on Sondheim’ and Cyrille Aimée’s ‘Move On – A Sondheim Adventure’, comes an evening showcasing a selection of music by the late, great Stephen Sondheim, arranged for jazz quartet.
Spanning across decades of compositions, this show will feature tunes from some of Sondheim’s most loved works; ‘Company’, ‘Follies’, ‘Sweeny Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street’, ‘Into the Woods’ and more.
To make this evening even more special, Penny King (Vocals) will be joined by the most heavenly piano trio:
Chris Foster – Piano
Nick Abbey – Bass
Daniel Susnjar – Drums
Experience these well loved tunes through a fresh, jazz lens – don’t miss the chance to join us for ‘a little night music’!
