Pareidolia are a dynamic jazz-hip hop collective from Perth that have been packing out venues with their distinctive fusion of retro and innovation. Fresh off performances at the launch of the Perth International Jazz Festival and a packed-out east-coast show in Melbourne, Pareidolia are bringing a set of new original music back to the Ellington stage, this time featuring guest vocalist, Maya Surjan.
Influenced by global jazz pioneer Robert Glasper and local legends Grievous Bodily Calm, Pareidolia seamlessly blend original compositions with reimagined jazz and hip-hop classics, infusing each performance with their signature artistic flair.
