Machete celebrates a three year musical journey. THE ROAD SO FAR. Performing hits from artists like the Legendary Carlos Santana, Azteca, Gregg Rolie, and Los Lobos to name a few. Expect a show full of energy and with Latin rhythms that will draw you to the dance floor.
Machete is a Latin Rock band made up of seven musicians. Merging Rock with traditional Latin American rhythms such as Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Afro-Cuban fusion, and others like Funk, Blues, and Soul. Creating a danceable fusion that excites and entrances. This rhythmic blend is emblematic of Latin Rock’s identity – a harmonious marriage of the contemporary and the timeless. Latin Rock has its roots in the Barrios of San Francisco and East Los Angeles California, and Machete brings that same energy to the city of Perth.
