La Pandilla Flamenca is returning to the Ellington this summer to perform a pre-Christmas afternoon of Spanish music and Flamenco dance. The show “Flamenco Live” is curated to present a variety of Flamenco forms, conjuring different emotions through the combination of passionate music and powerful dance to underlying Flamenco rhythms (compas). As you are immersed in the show, you will be entertained by the depth of Flamenco artistry and form personal connections with the artists in this intimate space.
The group has won several Fringe awards since 2021. Featuring dancers Naoko Christofis and special guest Farida Rabih from Casa del Compas. Special guest violinist Zola Li will again join La Pandilla musicians Jatin Kala (Guitar), Will Ditcham (Guitar) and Moira Desport (Cajon). One Show Only! Do not miss it.
