Whether fronting an 18-piece big band or accompanied by just a pianist, Perth vocalist Sarah Ramsey commands the stage with a warm and inviting presence. Her rich and soulful vocal approach draws influence from a myriad of artists ranging from Ella Fitzgerald to Stevie Nicks – and is best experienced telling her stories through her own compositions and heartfelt interpretations of jazz standards. Sarah has toured both regionally and nationally and is a regular favourite at many of Perth’s premier live music venues including Perth’s Ellington Jazz Club. Joined on stage by some of her favourite musicians and people, Sarah Ramsey is excited to present a show of her original compositions.

Satchies Trio
Satchies trio have developed a unique group sound through playing a weekly gig for 7 years. Tonight they will play well known standards while also paying homage to the great piano trios like the Ahmad Jamal and Bill Evans trio. The music you will hear is based on a collective passion for openness, space, groove and shared respect for Great American Songbook compositions that stand the test of time.
