Clark is widely acknowledged as being one of the foremost drummers and bandleaders in the UK, with 7 “Best Drummer” British Jazz Awards and a British Empire Medal for his contribution to music. Clark’s last visit to Perth was in 1995 with his legendary father, pianist Stan Tracey CBE.
Hooking up with great names on the Perth jazz scene – Harry Mitchell on piano, Jamie Oehlers on sax and Danny Moss Jr on bass, Clark will perform some of his father’s tunes, as well as some beloved jazz standards in an accessible musical environment. With over 100 recordings under his belt and more than 50 countries performed in, Clark is one of the most widely experienced jazz musicians on any continent.
