An ensemble cast of Perth’s finest musical theatre artists featuring Elethea Sartorelli, Greg Jarema and Joe Louis Robinson, will take you on a journey through your favourite show tunes from timeless classics and contemporary hits from the world of musical theatre.
They will bring iconic characters to life, weaving together heartwarming stories, comedy moments and show-stopping solos and duets from beloved musicals. Join us for an afternoon of musical theatre that will leave you humming your favourite show tunes all the way home!
Elethea Sartorelli is a multi-award winning performer whose versatility captivates audiences, eliciting tears one moment and laughter the next. Her recent accolades include Outstanding Performer – Supporting Role for her show-stopping portrayal of the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella: A Christmas Pantomime and Best Lead Actress for her heart-wrenching role as Diana Goodman in Next to Normal. Her most recent credits include the ever-changing Everywoman in Hairspray, the ultimate villain Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty, the duplicitous Roxie Hart in Chicago, and the wildly outrageous Grandma Addams in The Addams Family Musical. She has also impersonated theatre royalty in Forbidden Broadway at Studio Underground State Theatre Centre during Perth PrideFest, and portrayed the iconic Liza Minnelli in The Boy from Oz at Crown Theatre Perth.
Joe Louis Robinson is a performer and creative from London. His solo cabaret Eurovisionary! recently played to a sold-out audience at Perth International Cabaret festival. He has had a varied career as a cabaret music director playing iconic venues around the world, such as the Sydney Opera House, Birdland, 54 Below and the Royal Albert Hall. Music direction credits include: Soho Cinders (Charing Cross Theatre), Velma Celli’s Iconic: A Brief History of Drag (Australia Tour), Step One: A New Musical (Beijing Oriental Theatre), Promises, Promises! (Southwark Playhouse), Christina Biancos’s O Come All Ye Divas (Sydney Opera House), Nina Simone: Soul Sessions (UK Tour), Christmas in New York (Palace Theatre, West End), Been On Broadway (Duchess Theatre, West End), and orchestrations for Alice Fearne’s The Power Of Love (London Palladium). Television appearances include: The Paul O’Grady Show (Channel 4, UK), Computer Says Show (Sky Arts, UK), Our Gay Wedding The Musical (Channel 4, UK). Discographyincludes music direction for Julie Atherton’s Rush Of Life, featured vocal in The Pepys Motet, and composing the Freeplay-nominated soundtrack for LINK. Joe is currently the Course Coordinator of the Diploma of Musical Theatre at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).
Greg Jarema is an American performer who now calls Perth home. His recent credits include Robbie Hart in The Wedding Singer (Planet Royale), Princeton in Avenue Q (Subi Arts Centre), Warner in Legally Blonde (Crown Theatre), Mary Sunshine in Chicago (Planet Royale), Doody in Grease (Planet Royale), Guard/Lion in The Wizard of Oz (Planet Royale), Schlomo in FAME (Crown Theatre), and Flotsam in The Little Mermaid (Regal Theatre). Greg has also toured New Zealand as Rum Tum Tugger in Cats and as an Angel in Kinky Boots. Other notable credits include performing with Disney Cruise Line as Peter Pan, Iago, Quasimodo, Lumiere, Pinocchio, and Panic, as well as appearing in Seussical the Musical (U.S. Tour), Soul Doctor (pre-Broadway run), and The Secret Life of Pets (Universal Studios).
