ELLINGTON SWEET 16 FESTIVAL: SIXTEEN YEARS OF SWEET JAZZ

Adrian Galante and his band kick off The Ellington’s birthday celebrations by paying tribute to one of the most enduring and influential musical figures of the 20th century, and the name sake of our club, the great Duke Ellington!
Having composed well over 1000 compositions over his six decade long career, Ellington’s hit songs such as “It Don’t Mean a Thing if It Ain’t Got That Swing”, “Sophisticated Lady”, “Mood Indigo”, “Solitude”, “In a Mellow tone”, and “Satin Doll” remain some of the most cherished and lasting standards in the jazz repertoire.
For this performance the Adrian Galante Quartet will be joined by special guest vocalist Victoria Newton!
