Workshop 2pm – 4pm

Perth International Jazz Festival artists
Vocalist Karolina Beimcik (POL) and Guitarist Hugh Stuckey, (MEL)
invite you to an intimate and collaborative masterclass.

By exploring the intersections of Central European music, jazz, and other soundscapes, they foster a deeper dialogue between their creative voices and invite participants to join in building this dialogue and exploring these musical intersections together.

This two-session workshop will help you break through creative blocks and discover new musical possibilities, whether you’re an experienced musician, a beginner, or just starting to explore your voice and music.

The masterclass includes a Songstorming Session, where you’ll learn to compose together, improvise seamlessly, and develop effective communication for successful songwriting collaboration. Through collaborative group exercises, you’ll gain practical tools for songwriting and foster a positive and supportive environment, where combining ideas and finding common ground can lead to the best outcomes.

This workshop is designed to guide you in finding and telling your unique story through music.

  • The price includes materials, and all participants will receive a discount for online vocal sessions with Karolina.
  • Open to musicians, actors, students, and individuals aged 15 and up.
