Featuring some of Perth’s funkiest musicians, Randa And The Soul Kingdom are here to put funk in your trunk! Get set for soulful horns, high-octane vocals and gritty rhythms that pack a mighty punch of feel-good goodness. Guaranteed to get you dancing – if you still have a pulse.

With two albums out on London’s Freestyle Records, Randa And The Soul Kingdom have established their reputation playing at festivals in Australia and Europe. Their raw, high energy sets ignite dance floors, often sending audiences into a frenzied Soul Train. For this particular night, you can expect to hear the occasional 60/70’s classic to keep the momentum going all night.

Lead singer, Randa Khamis was born in Jordan to Palestinian/Armenian parents who survived two wars before migrating to Australia.  She believes that her heritage of struggle has drawn her to music as a safe space of refreshing joy, a joy that she wants to give her audiences.

Randa is humbled that their first single ‘Not Gonna Let You’ featured in the US version of TV show ‘Skins’. More recently, you’ll find her vocals being sampled/ remixed by international Belgium producer/DJ Bakermat on ‘Do Your Thing’ receiving almost 4 million streams on Spotify.

Randa And The Soul Kingdom served up their long-awaited third album in 2022 with their accompanying music video Put Your Hands Up and continued to ignite dance floors with their infectious grooves. Featuring some of Perth’s funkiest musicians: James Vinciullo (bass/music director),  Brent Purser (Drums), Ridge Moss (Guitar), Robert Bresland (Trumpet), Paul Millard (Tenor Sax), this is a lineup you want to catch!

”This is one of those albums that just has to be played loud so as to appreciate the wonderful musicianship and awesome grooves.”
