LIT LIVE

Lit Live is literature in performance, where Perth’s best actors transport audiences into the magical world of fiction, one short story at a time.

Sarah McNeill has worked in theatre, film and television for over 40 years. As Producer and presenter of Lit Live, she carefully curates every performance with lively and entertaining stories accompanied by acoustic musicians and singers, for the ultimate shared experience.

Lit Live has collaborated with jazz singers, classical ensembles, pianists and singer/guitarists, performing in venues ranging from Government House Ballroom and small theatres to art galleries, wineries and private salon events.

Erin Hickey

Originally from Melbourne, Erin has performed on numerous national TV variety shows and toured Australia and internationally as a backing vocalist to high profile performers including Suzi Quatro, on one of her Australian tours.

Now based in Perth she is sought after locally and regionally for corporate events, sundowner sessions, weddings and parties, covering an extensive range of great songs ranging from Etta James and Carole King to Adele, Amy Winehouse, and Pink.

She recently performed with Lit Live for the launch of the Australian Short Short Festival, playing songs by Paul Kelly, Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue.

As one half of the dueling divas, DivaLicious, she reached the finals of Australia’s Got Talent and has taken three shows to the Sydney Opera House. DivaLicious has performed with Lit Live at Kidogo Arthouse.

Penny has performed in a pantomime with Zealous Productions, sung with Freeze Frame Opera and directed La Boheme, Rapunzel and The Princess and the Showgirl for the company, and staged her own shows for Fringe World. She recently performed at The Ellington in her show Let’s Do It!
